WD_BLACK Battlefield 2042 launch collaboration

Electronic Arts (EA) partnered with Western Digital to co-brand a special edition internal SSD gaming drive geared towards serious gamers to coincide with the much-anticipated launch of the latest video game of the EA franchise: Battlefield 2042. The challenge was to merge both branded design systems in a fluid fashion while maintaining a high sense of impact that would build excitement around the strategic launch of this co-branded bundle offering.

Leading the team, I was tasked with co-branded lead packaging design concept, creative direction of product and in-situation photography, marketing asset design and development (print and digital), complementary assets for video and final production.

Result: Drive/game code bundle sold out in less than 2 months globally.
